The 2025 VW Atlas Cross Sport models have a Drive Mode Select, which allows you to switch to specific vehicle profiles according to your driving conditions. You can choose between five front-wheel drive modes (Eco, Comfort, Sport, Custom, and Snow). In All-Wheel-Drive models, the selector switch adds an Offroad mode for additional fun and adventure. The Atlas Cross Sport is powered by one of the most advanced Volkswagen engines ever, the new turbocharged and direct injection “Evo4” 2.0L four-cylinder TSI EA888 engine which puts out 269 horsepower with 273 lb.-ft. of torque with regular fuel. That’s an increase of 15 lb.-ft. over and above previous generation model. That is similar horsepower and torque over a broader revolution range of 1600-4500 rpms than even some previous generation six-cylinder models.

Safety and Driver Assistance

Many cutting-edge safety features keep you and your passengers safe wherever the road takes you. With the 2025 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport, you have a combination of both passive and active safety features. Standard features include six airbags (front and side airbags for front passengers and side curtain airbags for outboard seating positions).
