Volkswagen of Inver Grove

I've always followed the advice to never get auto work done at a dealership beause they "rip you off". My Passat has reach the 110k mark and unfortunately that comes with maintenance work. In the past 6 months, I've had a new timing belt, CV boot and rear brakes. Inver Grove VW has done the work cheaper than any other places I've called for quotes (Tires Plus, SC Imports). I live quite a distance from Inver Grove and the closer VW dealership to my house is actually Schmelz Countryside. I took my car there once last year to replace a wheel bearing, and they charged me $200 more than Inver Grove would have. Not to mention they called me to say the work was finished, I got a ride from work to the dealer to pick up my car, then had to wait another 45 mintues. As long as I have my Passat, I will always come to Inver Grove for maintenance. Even though it's a bit out of my way. I would recommend the dealership to anyone I know who owns a VW or thinking of purchasing one. Randi C. Great experience! Everyone was professional and courteous. Unfortunately, I was heading out of town to attend a very important family function and my fuel pump went out in my VW - Jetta. Without even explaining my situation, Ryan was able to help me get back into my vehicle and back on the road the next morning; so I could attend the important family function. The staff are great at this location! I drive 30 mins (passing another VW dealership) to get to this location because they go above & beyond. They dont push things I dont need yet (like a new air filter) or want. They have actually told me to wait. I've recommended this location to my family and friends. They received the same great quality service as I have. The service manager goes out of his way to make sure I get great customer service and that I am more than satisfied with the work they have completed on my vehicle. I came to your dealership last Friday with a dead Passat.  I was extremely upset because purchasing a new vehicle was the last thing on my mind.  Consultant Omar Molinar was patient and very understanding while I sobbed at his desk and waited for the technician to tell me what was wrong with my vehicle.  Omar's willingness to thoroughly explain my options and allow me to test drive 4 vehicles and eat up a good portion of his day was awesome.  I know what it is to be professional and Omar added a new dimension to that, he was genuinely kind and sincerely cared about my plight.  As a result I never walked across the street to look at Honda's and purchased a 2012 VW Beetle instead.  Omar is an exceptional consultant!

I do want to say that I live in Excelsior, I contacted a number of dealerships (Cadillac, Infiniti, Toyota) and literally said I wanted to trade my car in on a new vehicle. The response was universal... Great go online and call us when you see a car you want to lease... Randy and Dave were amazing. I have never had this kind of experience buying a car. It has usually been hours upon hours of hassle. This experience was about 3 hours total including test drives, finance discussions, signing the paperwork and going over the vehicle. It would have taken less time but I did extra test drives and Randy had to get my vehicle of choice delivered from another dealer so I had to come back in the following day.  JACQUELINE C

Mike, of Inver Grove Volkswagon did a fantastic job. He gave us lots of time to explain the car's features at pick up. I didn't have my cell phone and he told me to call and come back. He would program it. After pick up, I was called a few days later by Mike to ask how I was doing with the new car. I received a card to thank me and say I hope that I liked the new car. We don't buy new cars real often. I have never driven a Voldswagon. We have driven Hondas in the past. I have never had this great an experience buying a car before. There was no pressure to buy just facts and very respectful sales people.
